By signing the Memorandum, the Parties confirmed that their interests align in joint and coordinated cooperation to promote and develop trade, industrial, financial, social, and humanitarian relations between companies from Ukraine, Germany, and European Union countries. The Memorandum aims to support business organization between German and Ukrainian companies, attract investments to the economies of Germany and Ukraine, support national companies in various economic sectors in both countries, and provide legal and consulting support for business activities within the countries of the Memorandum. The Parties also agreed to cooperate in research on economic and trade relations, macroeconomic analysis, capital market development under the partnership, and proposals aimed at attracting direct investments, improving the investment climate of both countries, and enhancing mechanisms to support small and medium enterprises. The Parties are also committed to participating in post-war infrastructure recovery in Ukraine after the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
